Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro was announced on early 2017. Out of the box, it comes with Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Today we will show hot to root this phone in two ways with PC and without pc help also how to install TWRP custom recovery.

It has 5.7 inches (~74.1% screen-to-body ratio) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. It’s screen has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (~386 ppi pixel density). Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has Octa-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU with 4 GB RAM and it has Adreno 506 as a Graphics Processing Unit(GPU). It has internal storage of 64 GB with support of microSD, up to 256 GB (uses SIM 2 slot) as external storage. It has Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) with GSM / HSPA / LTE network support of speed HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE-A (2CA) Cat6 300/50 Mbps. Steps to install TWRP on Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro

  1. Go to official TWRP page and download twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img file for your Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro. Keep twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img file in a separate folder.
  2. Your PC must have ADB & fastboot installed and configured. For quick installation try 15 Second ADB installer. Download link
  3. Now connect your device to your PC and goto twrp folder and press and hold shift then rightclick on white space and “Open command window here”.
  4. Now type following commands at command prompt.
    • “adb reboot bootloader” – to boot your device into bootloader.
    • after booting into bootloader type “fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img” – this will flash TWRP recovery on your Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro.
    • “fastboot reboot” – to reboot your device.
    • After reboot type “adb reboot recovery” – to boot into recovery mode.

  1. If you Have already installed TWRP :
    • Download Super SU by chainfire from the following link and put it in the root of your internal storage.
